The Hub

Provides a central utility which enables brokers to send trade ideas to their clients, irrespective of the systems that either party use. This proven and robust approach provides system, operational and compliance benefits, to the whole investment community.

Any buy- or sell-side firm, anywhere in the world can use the Hub, either by using the services of one of TIL's authorised vendor platforms or connecting directly to the hub using one of our APIs.

Sell-side firms

Sell-side firms with their own electronic alpha capture systems can connect directly to the Hub and have their trade ideas routed, via a single connection, to multiple clients. The Hub provides authorisation and routing facilities to ensure that idea messages (idea opens, modifications and closes) are sent quickly to the intended recipients. Brokers connect using one of the TIL developed and supported APIs and secure transmission is undertaken via the internet. The Hub provides highly secure and robust infrastructure and is independently evaluated to the highest international banking standards.

If required the Hub can provide secure, remote storage of your trade idea history. This not only provides an independent back-up facility but also enables you to request TIL to create file downloads of selected idea history (e.g. a date range, or particular portfolio) to provide to clients for initial analysis and back-testing.

Buy-side firms

Buy-side firms with their own electronic alpha capture systems can connect directly to the Hub and have trade ideas routed to them from multiple brokers, via a single connection. The Hub provides authorisation and routing facilities to ensure that idea messages (idea opens, modifications and closes) are sent to you quickly and securely.

Asset managers connect to the Hub using one of the TIL developed and supported APIs and secure transmission is undertaken via the internet. The Hub provides highly secure and robust infrastructure and is independently evaluated to the highest international banking standards.

Solution Providers

Solution providers may connect in the same way, so brokers and asset managers using vendor platforms can also send/receive trade ideas via the Hub. Please talk to your solution provider in the first instance but use the Help details below for further information.
